Brand new music festival Houghton has announced its second phase of acts.
The festival, curated by fabric resident Craig Richards is set to be the UK’s only summer festival that fuses art, music and sculpture, whilst its licence uniquely allows musical programming of both sunset and sunrise. The new acts include Raresh, Rhadoo, Margaret Dygas, Cassy, Derrick Carter, Joy Orbison, Gerd Janson and afrobeat legend Tony Allen. Hercules & Love Affair will perform live as will unique trio Cobblestone Jazz (Tyger Dhula, Mathew Jonson and Danuel Tate) and Radioactive Man.
These artists join the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Seth Troxler and Nicolas Jaar, who were announced in December. Each act on the lineup has been personally invited by Craig Richards, with the emphasis on creating something special. Spontaneous back to back sets will be encouraged and unlike most music festivals longer DJ sets will be the norm.
Houghton takes place August 11-13 in Norfolk, in an area surrounded by a lake and woodland. You can see photos of the location below. For the full lineup head to our dedicated Houghton page.
